Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms cover your use of FlashAPT. Using the service means accepting them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

What the service is

FlashAPT helps office staff capture appointments and place them on the technicians' Google Calendars, suggesting times that suit the driving route. It suggests; your staff decide. Nothing is booked without somebody choosing it.

Drive times and travel distances are estimates from third-party mapping data. They do not account for live traffic, closures or weather, and should be treated as guidance rather than a guarantee that a technician will arrive at a given moment.

Your account

  • You sign in with Google. Keeping that Google account secure is your responsibility, and anyone who can sign into it can reach your FlashAPT data.
  • You are responsible for what your staff do in the account.
  • You must have the right to connect the Google Calendar you connect, and to enter the customer information you enter.
  • One account represents one business. Reselling access, or sharing it with an unrelated business, is not permitted.

Your data belongs to you

You keep ownership of everything you put in: your customers, appointments, prices and settings. FlashAPT is granted only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing that information, showing it back to you, and writing the calendar events you ask for. Your data is not sold and is not used to train models. It is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can export your data, and delete your business entirely, from Settings at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Your end customers

When you record an end customer's name, address or phone number, you decide what is collected and why; FlashAPT holds it for you. You are responsible for telling those people what you hold and for having a lawful reason to hold it, including any notice or consent your local law requires before recording call details.

Payment

  • New accounts get 7 days free. No card is asked for to start, nothing is charged during it, and access stops at the end unless a subscription is started.
  • Subscriptions are monthly and cost $50, whatever the size of the crew. There is no per-technician charge and no per-booking fee.
  • Adding or deactivating technicians does not change the price.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe. FlashAPT never sees or stores card details.
  • Cancel at any time from Settings. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
  • Part-months are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • Prices can change with at least 30 days' notice by email, and never mid-period.

What is expected of you

Do not use FlashAPT to:

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Store information you have no right to hold.
  • Attempt to reach another business's data, or to probe, overload or interfere with the service.
  • Resell it, or rebuild it by systematic copying.

Third-party services

FlashAPT depends on Google Calendar and on mapping and routing providers. Their outages, rate limits or changes can interrupt the service, and their own terms apply to your use of them. FlashAPT is not responsible for what those providers do, but will tell you when a failure is theirs rather than ours.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime figure. Maintenance, upgrades and faults can make it unavailable. Google Calendar remains the record of your schedule, so a FlashAPT outage does not take your appointments with it — they stay on the calendar and remain visible in Google's own applications.

Limits of responsibility

FlashAPT is a scheduling assistant, not a guarantee of any commercial outcome. To the extent the law allows, FlashAPT is not liable for lost profits, lost business, missed appointments or indirect losses, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

  • You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your business.
  • Access may be suspended or ended for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or for non-payment, with notice wherever practical.
  • If the service is discontinued, you will get at least 30 days' notice and time to export your data.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes will be emailed to account holders before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, and disputes are subject to the courts of that state.
